Distinguished Alumni

In 2009 the School of Nursing celebrated its 60th anniversary and established a list of distinguished alumni who have transformed nursing practice and science through their work. In 2010 the School of Nursing Alumni Association established the Distinguished Alumnus Award to continue the tradition of celebrating our alumni’s accomplishments and contributions to the nursing profession. Since then we have had the pleasure of awarding four stellar alumnae with the award. We continue the legacy by opening nominations every year and recognizing those individuals who continue to influence the changes in nursing science and clinical practice. This site is dedicated to those who exemplify the outstanding caliber associated with a UCLA School of Nursing degree.
